About Firewheel Creative

Firewheel Creative was founded by Tracy DeBellevue, an instructional designer, trainer, and consultant with over a decade of experience in learning strategy and designing learning in complex, real-world environments.

After years of working across regulated industries, higher education, and organizational training, Tracy saw a recurring problem: training was often treated as a requirement to satisfy — not an experience to design with intention.

Firewheel Creative was created to change that.

Her work focuses on translating complex information into clear, usable learning experiences that respect both organizational needs and the people doing the work.

She approaches every project with a designer’s mindset and a consultant’s perspective — asking thoughtful questions, listening closely, and building solutions that are practical, scalable, and human-centered.
